Example of results found with the use of MATY KRYSTAL SWINE in fattening pigs (from 60 kg to 150/160 kg), with the same feed used: Reduction of the total nitrogen in the slurry under the grills which from 3,500 ppm passes to 2,500 average ppm, with strong reduction of the ammonia component. This reduction implies a better environmental health thanks to the lower concentration of ammonia present in the atmosphere. The better environmental health involves a lower pharmaceutical expenditure in the order of 15-20% (value not verified by us). With the same feed, the nitrogen missing in the manure is metabolized by the pigs with improved conversion which leads to an increase in the weight of the animal.  The bacterial flora present in the manure triggers the biological processes of nitrification and above all denitrification in the sewage storage tank, reducing the total nitrogen content by up to 50% compared to untreated sewage. The nitrification process that takes place in the tanks under the gratings, leads to a reduction of the ammonia present in the farm from 20-25 ppm to 5-7 ppm.
